Diesel Power & Injection, Inc., opened in November 1981. We have grown steadily every year since inception, occupying our own 8,400 sq. ft. building right in the heart of the bustling business community of Miami, Fla. The business was founded on the premise of superior workmanship and product quality. We have since carved anenvious niche in the marketplace that our competitors strive to equal.

It's founder and owner, Mr. Jim Haas, has been in the engine business through family involvement for over 31 years. Jim has many awards and recognition's for business acumen
and accomplishments.

He has a vast knowledge of worldwide engines, control systems, application theory and troubleshooting. He has served on several recognized industry association boards and Florida State business organizations. He is a past president of the Florida Automotive Industries Association as well as a longtime Business Management Director for the Association of Diesel Specialists.

Our Vice President and General Manager, Carlos Hernandez, has been with us for 21 years, since our very beginning in late 1981. He came to us with several years of experience already under his belt, and he is factory trained in almost every diesel fuel injection system made. There are very few engines made that he hasn't worked on at some point of his carreer.

Peggy Retter, our Office Manager, joined us in February 1984. With 17 years experience she handles all the Accts. Recievables and Payables, and Inventory Control. She also handles all export transactions and tracking procedures. Very few women in the industry have the accrued engine knowlwedge she has.

We employ only Factory Trained Technicians. Carlos Hernandez, Hugo Morejon, Efrain Lozano, Camilo Delgado and Ivan Chin are our Master Technicians.

We are proud to say, that between these 4 gentlemen and Carlos Hernandez as leader, there is nothing in diesel engine control systems that we can't service. All the rest of our staff has been with us for quite some time, as we have very little staff turnover to insure a quality product for our customers.

Rounding out our sales staff are Jim Halperin with 35 years experience, and Bill Ward with 30 years experience. Both these gentlemen have been in the automotive business all their adult lives.
