Diesel Power & Injection, Inc., officially opened in November 1981. In 2009 we are starting our 28th successful year. We have grown steadily every year since inception, occupying our owned 8,400 sq. ft. building right in the heart of the bustling business community of Miami, Fla., in the Doral area.

We have been in the same location since inception. We are a stable and reliable company, and one that can be trusted with your business now and in the future. The business was founded on the premise of superior workmanship and product quality. We continuously strive for 100% customer satisfaction. We have since carved an envious niche in the marketplace that our competitors strive to equal.

It's founder and owner, Mr. Jim Haas, has been in the engine business through family involvement for over 39 years. His family has been involved in the engine parts and service business since the early 1930's. Jim has many awards and recognition's for business acumen and accomplishments.

He has a vast knowledge of worldwide engines, control systems, application theory, and troubleshooting. He has served on several recognized industry association boards and Florida State business organizations. He is a past president of the Florida Automotive Industries Association as well as a past Business Management Director for the Association of Diesel Specialists. Jim maintains daily important connections in community and industry involvement.

Our Vice President and General Manager, Carlos Hernandez, has been with us for 27 years, since our very beginning in late 1981. He came to us with several years of experience already under his belt, and he is factory trained in almost every diesel fuel injection system made. There are very few engines made that he hasn't worked on at some point of his career.

Peggy Retter, our Office Manager, joined us in February 1984. With 24 years of experience at DPI she has done it all. She currently handles all the Accts. Receivables and Payables, and Inventory Control. She also handles all export transactions, and tracking procedures. Very few women in the industry have the accrued engine knowledge she has.

We employ only Factory Trained Technicians. Carlos Hernandez, Hugo Morejon, Freddy Reina and Orlando Delgado, are our Master Technicians. They love what they do and we all enjoy coming to work for you.

We are proud to say, that between these 4 gentlemen and Carlos Hernandez as leader, there is nothing in diesel engine control systems that we can't service. All the rest of our staff has been with us for quite some time, as we enjoy very little staff turnover, to insure a quality product for our customers.

Rounding out our sales staff is Bill Ward with 40 years automotive experience. All of these sales and service gentlemen have been in the automotive business all their adult lives.
